Korea’s Golden Route
Palaces, Coast & Mountains
From Seoul's palace courtyards to the southern coast and the peaks of Seoraksan, follow a journey through the many landscapes of Korea.
Per person · Twin-sharing · Land only · Subject to availability and confirmation
A country revealed, one landscape at a time.
Some journeys are remembered for a single view. This one unfolds in chapters: a palace courtyard in Seoul, the old stone walls of Gongju, the tiled rooftops of Jeonju, and a first glimpse of the southern coast. Follow Korea's Golden Route through royal cities and living villages, with time in Yeosu and Busan before turning towards Gyeongju's temple heritage, Andong's traditional houses and the mountain landscapes of Seoraksan. Each change of scenery offers another perspective on the country, from the energy of its streets to the quieter presence of its past. With scheduled airport transfers, hotel breakfasts and a shared coach itinerary led by an English-Korean bilingual guide, the essential arrangements are brought together. You can give your attention to the places, people and details that make Korea stay with you.
Seoraksan access is subject to traffic and local conditions; additional walking and a possible change of programme apply in October.

Is this a private or an English-only tour?
This is a shared Sit-in-Coach tour with an English-Korean bilingual guide, rather than a private service or an English-only group. Other language-speaking guides may accompany the tour when available. The minimum is two passengers, and your chosen departure must be confirmed before you book associated travel.
Are airport transfers and international flights included?
The programme includes the arrival and departure transfers between Incheon International Airport and Seoul. International airfare is not included. Let Gala Holidays know if you would like a separate quotation for round-trip international flights, and provide your flight details so the transfer arrangements can be confirmed.
How much walking should I expect at Seoraksan?
In October, bus-entry restrictions may require the coach to park at C District Square, with approximately 3.6 km of walking to reach the park entrance. This is the access walk, not a stated total distance for the day's visit. Heavy traffic may prevent the Seoraksan visit altogether. Discuss any mobility concerns with Gala Holidays before booking. The Gwongeumseong Cable Car is optional and costs US$20 per person.

On the last Monday of each month, the garden visit is replaced by Naganeupseong Folk Village or Suncheon Drama Film Set. The operator confirms which alternative forms part of that departure's programme.
Which joining details still need to be confirmed?
The supplied programme lists two different meeting instructions for Day 3: 08:00 at Donghwa Duty Free Shop, Gwanghwamun, and 08:40 at the hotel lobby. The correct time and place must be confirmed before travel. The transfer from the Day 7 Seoul city drop-off to the final hotel, and the precise attractions with excluded admissions, also require confirmation before booking.
What should I know before requesting a reservation?
Prices are per person based on twin sharing, and departures require confirmation with a minimum of two passengers. The booking deadline is seven Korean working days before departure; changes must be requested at least 14 Korean working days before departure. Cancellation charges apply, and any services unused for personal reasons are non-refundable. Korean working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Korean public holidays; all deadlines use Korean Standard Time.
