A little time. A different perspective.

Beyond the capital,
another Korea unfolds.

Stone ramparts tell stories of an old kingdom. Traditional rooftops draw you into Jeonju’s lanes. Farther south, gardens and a coastal city change the rhythm of the journey. A compact route with a clear beginning in Seoul and a practical finish in Busan.

Three days,
beautifully connected.

Two overnight stays and shared touring transport connect the route. Hotel breakfasts are included; lunches and dinners are at your own expense.

01
Sunday · Seoul → Gongju → Jeonju

Old kingdoms,
traditional rooftops.

Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot in front of Donghwa Duty Free Shop at Gwanghwamun. The city gives way to Gongju and the legacy of the Baekje kingdom. Visit King Muryeong’s Tomb and Gongsanseong Fortress: two contrasting encounters with Korea’s royal past, from a royal burial site to stone ramparts set into the landscape.

In Jeonju Hanok Village, the scale becomes more intimate. Curving tiled roofs and traditional streets bring the focus from royal monuments to the texture of a historic neighbourhood. End the day in Jeonju, with a hotel stay arranged and dinner at your own expense.

Garden landscapes,
a southern coastal city.

After breakfast, begin with a reflective visit to Gwangju’s May 18th National Cemetery. The mood changes at Suncheon Bay National Garden, where planting, water and open landscapes bring a gentler rhythm to the afternoon. Continue south to Yeosu and Yi Sun-sin Plaza before your overnight stay.

On the garden’s last-Monday closure, the visit is replaced with Naganeupseong Folk Village or Suncheon Drama Film Set. Your overnight stay is in Yeosu.
